I have been using a DE razor for quite some time and wanted to give shavette's a try. It does requires some time to get used to it. So expect some cuts and nicks at the beginning. I found these to be little more harsh than the DE razors. Parker razor quality is good considering the price. You have to be careful at the edges, as I realised its the sharp edge points of the exposed blade that causes most of the nicks and cuts.
