First few days birds did not show much interest. However after 4-5 days some 1 or 2 pigeons started turning up. Slowly this seed was a hit among birds. Once you gain their trust that they are safe when they come to your house to eat and once they know the taste of these seeds, birds simply love it. One has to have patience. Today around 5-6 pigeons and a variety of birds feed on these seeds in my balcony every day. When it rains I have to be careful to remove the bowl so that seeds do not get wet.
