All round protection *by A***T on Reviewed in India on 30 October 2018* I was looking for good cover for MBA for quite some time. Before I could finalise the right product, one day MBA fell from my lap onto the ground and received a very minor dent. It was right there and then I started looking for cover once again and stumble onto this product. Seeing positive reviews, I ordered one (Frost Clear - as I wanted to preserve the natural and beautiful silver finish of this product). As always, amazon packaging was excellent and product was received in very good condition. Along with hard cover, I also received extra goodies - keyboard protector and dust plugs as promised on product page. Here is my brief review of product:Pros:1. The cover is in two piece (for lid and body), hard shell, tough and fits very well. There are few pressure points which can be used to fit and to remove the lid cover if taken proper care. Removing the cover requires patience, however we generally need not remove frequently so it is not a major problem.2. The cover weighs approx 250-300 gm only. It adds a little weight to MBA, however this is only a minor trade-off. It definitely does not make MBA look bulky. But you will feel extra weight when you pick up MBA in your hands.3. In some reviews, I saw that when lid is left half closed, it falls automatically due to weight of cover. I have not experienced any such thing in my 3 days of usage.4. Frost clear is beautiful which gels very well with natural shine of silver color of MBA.5. Dust plugs are useful if kept on for a long time.Cons:1. Keyboard protector is not useful to me. It is semi transparent (lets light pass on as seen in my image upload), however it is a bit thick to my taste and takes away the natural feedback of key presses. Also, it feels a bit sticky after a while and easily attracts dust on it. For those who use MBA mostly indoors, I suggest keyboard protector wont be of much use. As it a free goodie, I don't have much complaints.2. Dust plugs are nice touch. However, frequent removal of dust plugs makes them loose. So, I am using only thunderbolt and memory card dust plugs. (Though I have received all the dust plugs).Overall:For those who want their laptop to remain ultra light weight only, I suggest think before buying. For all others who fear accidental fall of MBA, go for it. You wont regret the decision. 250-300 gm of weight addition is good trade off to any accidental fall and damage, as I have experienced personally. I would suggest Frost Clear option if you want to show off natural silver color. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Overall decent *by D***N on Reviewed in India on 6 June 2021* The laptop case was the most reviewed in a search and I decided to go for it. The case is hard and provides good protection for your MacBook. However the upper flap case had a slight defect in the bottom left corner. It wouldn’t click in place and keeps coming off till date such that while I am working, i keep pushing it back in place. Additionally, this product comes with a protective silicon layer for your keyboard as well as silicon plug ins for the adapter ports on the side. The tiny dust protectors of the side doesn’t stay on and keeps coming off; i have stopped using the same. Also, note that the keyboard silicon layer blocks the sound of MacBook Air. So it is not very useful. However overall this is a good product which offers durable protection. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Good product for a good price *by A***. on Reviewed in India on 21 May 2019* Product quality is very good feels sturdy providing good protection for your MacBook. The plugs are also good and useful as they fit perfectly in the ports. The keyboard cover is average as it blocks the backlit which makes it difficult for typing in the dark. Only drawback is that it adds weight to your laptop making it slightly bulky and heavy but if protection is more important this is something that can be ignored.
