I've tried the other drugstore removers like L'oreal, Revlon and Maybelline and all are outperformed by Neutrogena (Revlon is downright awful and burns, but Maybelline is a good second choice). I hold a cotton pad against the mouth of the bottle and rapidly tip it to form two wet circles on the pad which will cover my eye area. Then hold still against each eye for 10 seconds and then gently wipe away. It dissolves waterproof mascara, kohl, liquid and gel eyeliner usually in one application. Sometimes a second application is needed but it's gentle enough to not sting or need me to rub more vigorously. It comes the closest to replicating the effect of my favorite luxe eye makeup remover by Lancome (Bi-Facil)!
