The interior is lined in a soft fabric, not vinyl (a plus for me) with two full length elasticized pockets. One is divided, one is not. A zippered center pocket (ideal for brushes) runs the length of the bag, and small palettes can lie flat on either side. The bag zips smoothly closed, easily regaining its modular shape with double zipper pulls. The exterior is wipe-clean, PU leather in an attractive woven pattern (the material is *molded* into this design, it is not woven in actuality.
