Review: Fantastic reusable bottle - My favorite water bottles. I now have 4 in various colours (though not just for myself) as they're so good. Great size, easy flip top, and lockable too. The choice of colour is a great bonus I have a chronic illness so being able to stick it in the dishwasher was one of my main priorities, it means I can get it clean easily. The neck is wide so water can get in there properly, but a bottle brush makes for easy cleaning too. The straw being detachable is great, it means I can be sure there aren't any germs lurking where it attaches to the spout, and the spout is silicone so there's no painful tooth or gum bumping going on. It isn't insulated so it doesn't keep drinks especially cold, but that wasn't something I required from this bottle so isn't an issue for me.

I think this must be the updated version because my old one had a silicone bendy straw and this one has a rigid plastic straw. Silicone does have an issue with growing mould after a while, so perhaps this is the reason. Because this bottle is thick rigid plastic I feel safer using it than thin flexible plastic bottles, because of the microplastic leaching issue. The pop-up lid is easy to use and the children I look after tend to ignore their toys and magnetically zoom in on my magic water bottle, where they want to continually press the button to make the nozzle pop up. Luckily it has a child lock on it. I also like the fact that it has a carabiner style loop on the lid so I can hang it out of the way of the children if necessary. Although I haven't actually used this feature because I tend to just leave it up on the windowsill. It's also very useful as it's leak proof (unless I forget to pop the spout down in my bag). Overall very handy for staying hydrated throughout the day.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good Drinking Bottle for on the go

The Contigo Cortland Autoseal water bottle is overall a really good bottle. It keeps drinks secure with no leaks, feels sturdy, and is convenient to use daily. The only issue I had was with the one-hand opening mechanism, which failed after some use. However, Contigo customer service was helpful and sent a replacement lid/tip, which I appreciated. My only disappointment is that the replacement only came in grey, while my original bottle is blue, so it doesn’t match. Aside from that, I’m happy with the bottle and the support from Contigo.
