Review: Great Longevity, Has 'Pin' and 'Hook' Mounting Options - I have been very pleased with the 5 Plus 22" wipers I purchased for my older Crown Vic that uses the 'pin' style mounting for wipers as opposed to the shepherd hook style that many cars have. It's a shame so many wiper brands have moved away from the pin style mount being available. Blade size seems to run true, I've had the blades on a while and have had zero issue with drying, cracking, or chatter. So far so good in that I still get a smooth and quiet operation of my wipers to produce a clear view. This purchase has been a win for me in that the wipers fit & function as they should & have lasted without chattering or streaking.
Review: Easy install if you know what you're doing. - My new blades came in a reasonable amount of time and were well packaged. Not to fault the manufacturer the part of the instructions that was most important was covered up by the shipping label. There were 2 loose plastic adapters packaged with the blades and I could not for the life of me figure out which adapter I needed. I just tried putting the blades on the wiper hook arm without the adapters and the went on extremely easy. I went through a car wash and tried the new blades and the wiped well and were smooth and quiet. Just what I’d expect from a quality blade. But as easy as they went on I figured they could fall off just as easy. After looking at each adapter I decided to carefully peel the shipping label off the instructions. Under the label it said the third adapter was already installed. Same on shipping. Put the label on the blank side in the future. All in all so far I would recommend these 5PLUS wiper blades.
