The toffee was in sealed bags inside boxes. The boxes were sealed with frozen bags to keep them from melting in the summer heat and placed inside thermal bags. Alas it could not survive the disgusting heat of South Texas being it's usually 110 degrees outside. I brought the box in right away but the chocolate had somewhat melted. It had no impact on the flavor though. These were delicious. Reminds me of the ones I'd eat at the Houston Rodeo.
