I believe the screen brightness issues others are having are related to screen mounting position. I originally had this laying on the dash to prove function. Screen did have some glare and viewing could have been better. My iPhone had the same issue when I placed it in the same spot as the screen. I knew then it was not a screen problem. It was a sun exposure reflection and viewing angle issue. No brightness issue at all once I mounted it behind the upper tint on my windshield. My advice is mount higher on the windshield if possible. Notable functions include. Adjustable on the fly view to see closer to vehicle or farther distances. Voice command works very well. Commands are limited but include the most common functions.
