I ordered this for my STG44, and it does work great. I had to return the first one because one of the claws wasn't threaded for the screw. What do you expect for 11 bucks? But it was Prime, so I returned it and ordered another one. The second one was made correctly and fit perfectly. I think for the price, this is a fantastic deal. As for the product itself, it is short enough that it doesn't obstruct the STG44's charging handle and bolt hold open. The MP5 and G3 pattern rifles fit this rail as well. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Perfect for airsoft/rimfire rifles *by N***K on Reviewed in the United States on March 23, 2018* This little guy is a decent alternative to the $115+ official mount for my Walther/H&K MP5/22. Some other users have reported having problems securing it to their firearms, but my installation was quick and painless. I put a bit of loctite on the threads of the screws, as I will not have any reason to remove it frequently. I am able to remove the cheap little red dot I installed with it and obtain a sight picture with the original irons.In summation, it's not high, kill-a-bear-with-it quality, but for a .22 plinker it's perfect. As others have mentioned, this is what you are looking for to replace the stock weaver rail.Odd lesson learned- when you remove the stock screws holding down the old weaver rail on your GSG, DO NOT REINSERT THEM until you cut them down.
