The xpac fabric feels very strong and water resistant. I have no doubt it’ll protect everything inside. It easily fits one or two passports. I’ve tested with one passport only and in this case it can easily hold 10-20 credit cards as well, no doubt. You can put some cash in the main compartment but if you want to put it in the smaller one, it’s quite difficult. As you can see in my photos the smaller compartment, while can hold cash notes, has a slightly small zip openings that makes it difficult to put straight notes in. But if you fold your bills then it’s fine. Similarly a bank checkbook is too long to put in either compartment so I have to place it in the outside pocket which is roomy as well. Love the pen holders. I figure one can also put a pocket knife or so there too. The zippers felt slightly hard at first but over the time it gets smoother. The green color is really nice and the hand strap is such a nice touch. At $35 I find it expensive and probably won’t recommend to everyone, but I still like it and will keep it.
