Water sheds off the cover very well as it is rolled up. The cover is awesome at holding the heat temperature with the coldest winter I have seen in south florida 30 degrees Fahrenheit the pool temp dropped about 6 -8 degrees at night when the heat pump . was off it definitely made a difference on chlorine stabilization and heat .
