I tried putting one in the reclining position but it kept collapsing so have no confidence in them. Even worse when attempting to put the chair up in our caravan awning, as soon as I sat on it (and I am not that big) it collapsed, went backwards and scratched our new caravan badly. They have now been scrapped.
