Considering my chest freezer was made in 1970 I was exceedingly pleased to extend it's life. It has sat in an outdoor store and garage all it's life and has 'mechanical' not electronic controls, which are not affected by 'electrical supply spikes', and has a super freezer section and deep baskets. Something that you can't but today. So the great fitting seal was just what I needed and it was well worth the money. I had good customer service to get the specification correct. Review: Keep your money - To purchase this item was one of my poorest decisions. The packaging put me on alert. The seal was rolled up in a ball & had no fitting instructions. It was virtually impossible to fit (which should have been a simple task). I was so annoyed I binned it & ordered a replacement from Neff which I should have done at the beginning.
