Review: Cuckoo Clock of the year 2005 - Well packaged, promptly delivered. Clear unpacking & instructions for use. Great to look at super sound, very comforting tick tock. pleased with purchase. Review: You get what you pay for! - Genuine Blackforest and Swiss Cuckoo Clocks are hand made. They are carved by craftsmen and there is little if any 'computer produced' parts. The majority of Blackforest Clocks and Cuckoo clocks in the cheaper ranges (£30-£100) are mass produced but generally well made and are VERY VERY SMALL. Many are no than about 5 - 8" which does cause disappointment. However, this particular clock is a true work of art. It is a good size and it has a cuckoo! The carvings and details are amazing and exactly what you would expect for such a hefty price tag. If you are a collector then this is tops. If you are just looking for something to hang in the hall, then you need to consider the price! ## Features - Type: Authentic Black Forest Cuckoo Clock - Night shut off: Manually - The clock can be silenced manually with a lever. - Movement: Regula - The cuckoo clock has a mechanical REGULA movement from the marketleader SBS-FEINTECHNIK in the Black Forest/Germany. - Tunes: Happy wanderer and Edelweiss - The melodies change every hour between the Happy Wanderer and Edelweiss. - Origin: Made in Germany ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B004XJIUQK | | Alarm Clock | No | | Batteries are Included | No | | Brand Name | August Schwer | | Clock Form | Cuckoo | | Colour | Brown | | Country Of Origin | Germany | | Customer Reviews | 2.1 2.1 out of 5 stars (5) | | Dial Colour | Brown | | Display Type | Analogue | | Frame Material | Wood | | Indoor Outdoor Usage | Indoor | | Item Dimensions W x H | 47W x 58H centimetres | | Item Shape | House | | Item Weight | 24.26 Pounds | | Manufacturer | August Schwer | | Manufacturer Part Number | 5.8875.01.P | | Material Type | Wood | | Model Number | 5.8875.01.P | | Mounting Type | door | | Number of Items | 1 | | Operation Mode | Mechanical | | Power Source | Mechanical | | Room Type | Living Room | | Size | 58 cm H x 47 cm W x 26 cm D | | Special Features | Wooden Cuckoo | | Style Name | cuckoo | | Theme | Cuckoo clock | | Watch Movement | Mechanical | ## Product Details - **Brand:** August Schwer - **Colour:** Brown - **Display type:** Analogue - **Indoor/Outdoor usage:** Indoor - **Power source:** Mechanical - **Product dimensions:** 47W x 58H centimetres - **Room type:** Living Room - **Shape:** House - **Special feature:** Wooden Cuckoo - **Style:** cuckoo ## Images ![Cuckoo Clock of the year 2013 Estate 5.8875.01.P - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/812XlsYP0DL.jpg) ![Cuckoo Clock of the year 2013 Estate 5.8875.01.P - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/91ibAXz7OiL.jpg) ![Cuckoo Clock of the year 2013 Estate 5.8875.01.P - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51QHmNoVaqL.jpg) ![Cuckoo Clock of the year 2013 Estate 5.8875.01.P - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71Mi1KcpfQL.jpg) ![Cuckoo Clock of the year 2013 Estate 5.8875.01.P - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71YXUqzzG1L.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: What are the measurements of this clock?** A: Product Dimensions 18.5 x 22.8 x 10.2 inches **Q: my clocks sounds like grinding noise is that normal?** A: Definitely not normal.
