For a period of time, we had a counterfeiter selling a product under our name and part number and shipping through . This resulted in poor reviews for product that was NOT ShopWildThings product. Additionally, this product is available in different strand counts. This curtain has 24 strands. We have been selling genuine ShopWildThings Crystal Beaded Curtains for more than 20 years. There IS a quality difference!The light will dance off of the beads as they turn with the slightest breeze. 24 strands of faceted crystal beads make up this fun beaded curtain. You will love the way the beads shine and sparkle. Each bead is about 1cm in diameter which is just shy of ½ inch. You can even change the appearance of the curtains dramatically simply by pointing different colored lights at them. The beads are made of the highest quality acrylic. On top of the beads is our special iridescent coating, which will add a pearlized look to the top of the beads, which are see-through. Our newest beaded curtain panel is 72" long and 35" wide. Use beaded curtains to hang in a window, in a doorway, for weddings and events, as a room divider, or in retail locations as a cool window display. All strands are hanging from one rod. The beads are attached to a metal bar, (via a recessed area), and there is an eyelet on each end of that bar for mounting. If you're going to mount it inside of the window frame, just make sure the width of the bar doesn't exceed those dimensions. If the bar is too wide for the interior of your window frame, they can easily be mounted above the frame. If you're able to contact me directly I'll be glad to send you a picture of how I mounted it, and what it looks like, (to give you a better idea). The bar and mounting eyelets are nicely made, (i.e., it doesn't look cheap at all). **Q: It's not completely clear right? There's iredescent coating to the breads?** A: Yes, there is iredescent coating on the beads. They reflect colors when light hits them I have 4 sets of them, and intend to order more when I am ready for them. **Q: The curtain is ABOUT 2 inches too wide. May I cut off 2 inches from the rod and it would be alright? Also, May I move the strands closer together** A: It's not impossible to cut 2 inches off the rod but you might run into problems when trying to hang it up because there are only 2 rings to hold them. Also, you can't change the spacing between the beads. **Q: Can your shorten the beads? My window is only 4' long** A: Yes. Each bead has a knot after it.
