Are these actually genuine or a knock off?** A: My bag looks exactly like this one and does appear to be legitimate. It shows three locations, PA, Ontario, Canada, and Mexico so not sure which of the three manufactured this. It says it is for medium filtration but to use only for dry pick up and not for use with toxic or flammable materials such as asbestos, arsenic, barium, beryllium, lead, pesticides or other health endangering materials. I'm assuming they have more impervious bags for that purpose. I know many years ago I got bags that were for fine dust like sheetrock when my basement was being renovated. These are not for that purpose but I do believe they are genuine Shop Vac bags. I do find them a little too tall for my small, 5 gallon shopvac but I make it work. Just don't really get the full use of the bag as it creases around the turns and debris can't make it all the way around.
