We purchased this to repair a favorite bird feeder. Sadly the ID of the tube was just slightly small. I was able with heat to "stretch" the ends over a mandrill. But then my bone headed attempt to drill holes cracked the tube badly. If you do NEED to work with a vinyl material and plexiglass or other clear stuff won't do, USE NO POWER TOOLS. If you need to punch holes in this, use heat! Do not grind, drill or cut this tube with a power tool or you will break it easily. There is nothing wrong wit the tube at all, wonderful, clear, heavy gauge. I'm not sure what the material is but I should have bought pvc but thats my fault.
