## Description

Super Jet Alto Saxophone Mouthpiece 5. The SUPER JET has been developed with the Smooth Jazz, Rock and Funk player in mind. It’s a contemporary sounding mouthpiece with many characteristics JodyJazz has not offered in their range up until this time. It’s going to give you more power, more edge and more altissimo, but as with all JJ mouthpieces, it is beautifully free blowing with enough bottom in the sound to make it more versatile than many mouthpieces in the small chamber category. The Palladium-plated virgin bell brass gives the Super Jet a crisp clean brightness that can get very funky and dirty because the piece really vibrates due to the beak design. Like all JodyJazz mouthpieces the SuperJet features a hand crafted baffle, thin tip rail and side rails for that instantaneous response that JodyJazz is famous for. Tip Opening 5 (0.74")

JodyJazz SUPER JET Alto Saxophone Mouthpiece Model 7. Tried this on my Alto Yamaha 82Z. I use Legere American cut 2.25. I found the sound to be warm but lacking in projection. I like a bit brighter mouthpiece for rock/funk application. I suggest spending a bit more money and trying Drake Sanborn mouthpiece or Theo Wanne Durga both of these project and play with greater ease and expression than the Jody Jazz.
