**Q: what is the serving size**
A: serving size on container label is 2 tablets equaling 1500 mg glucosamine and 1200 mg chondroitin. That serving size did not help my knee pain. On the advice of a surgeon who has replaced more than 7000 knees, I take 3 times the recommended dosage and that works for me.

**Q: Is this product made from shell fish?**
A: Yes.  It is stated on the label.

**Q: what are the ingredients on the label? thanks.**
A: chondroitin sulfate complex 1200 mg
glucosamine sulfate    1500 mg
MSM (methylsulfonylmethane)    2000 mg

By the way, I would not have purchased it if I had seen the back label.  There was NO indication on the brand advertising that the dosage was as  high as it actually is to get to the amount of the 3 ingredients shown on the front label.  The back label reads as follows:   "Serving Size 5 capsules   Servings per container:  36"   I had been taking a brand where the dosage was per capsule, but this particular brand did not show the back label.  IN ACTUALITY, THE INGREDIENTS LISTED ABOVE ARE PER SERVING ---so each capsule contains only one-fifth of the amount shown on the front label. Keep that in mind on figuring out the expense of the product!
Also, in response to the other answer given, there are really only the three ingredients as listed, plus under "other ingredients" it only says "Gelatin (bovine), vegetable magnesium stearate and rice flour".  Those are the ONLY ingredients, in addition to the three ingredients I gave in my first response, and above.  There is also an Allergen Warning below the ingredients which reads, "Contains fish and shellfish (Glucosamine)".
