Quick and easy to prepare, can be made thicker or thinner by preference, with more or less liquid to fit a mug or bowl. What's not to like?! It has always annoyed me that European supermarkets carry a much more interesting range of packet soups than we do in the UK. I prefer them over tins and they are much better value than supermarket chill cabinet posh soups in cartons. This cream of leek soup is very tasty, and the addition of extra cream, parsley, croutons, etc. makes a pretty decent offering.
