Removal Instructions 1. Warm the tape (Hook or Loop) with a hair dryer. (Do not use a heat gun) 2. Peel off the tape (Hook or Loop) the adhesive will remain on the substrate 3. Warm the adhesive with the hair dryer (again, do not use a heat gun), peel off a piece and roll in a ball 4. Cool the adhesive down. This may be done with ice in a plastic bag (only takes a few moments) 5. Stick the ball on the adhesive which is on your substrate and pull it off 6. Repeat step # 5 until the adhesive is completely removed from the substrate. This may take some time 7. If any residue tackiness remains on the substrate you may now use a commercial remover like Goo Gone, acetone, WD-40, mineral spirits or citrus based cleaners **Q: Does this stay on in a hot car** A: The heat will cause the adhesive to fail in hot car. **Q: I wanted to attach a styrofoam head to my shoulders attached to clothing for a Halloween costume. Will this work for that?** A: This has a heavy duty adhesive and you need to read the product information to know if it will stick to fabric and Styrofoam. I used it on plastic and metal and it has been working well. **Q: Is the hook side any different than their Industrial Strength version? Trying to determine which type to get** A: The Hook side is stronger on the Extreme Outdoor product. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Quality *by S***E on 13 August 2026* Adheres to automotive interior plastic but the other half did not adhere to fabric. I used Barge all purpose cement and that made a permanent bond to the fabric. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Velcro *by C***N on 23 January 2024* Utilizzato all’esterno , prodotto molto buono👍 ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent outdoors and inside *by D***P on 2 August 2026* Compared to other unknown brands, there is no comparison. The adhesive on this Velcro sticks and stays stuck. Hot weather, rain and wind hasn't affected it in any way. If you are looking for adhesive Velcro that is genuinely place and forget, this is it. ## Frequently Bought Together - VELCRO Brand Extreme Outdoor Mounting Tape | 20Ft x 1 In, Holds 15 lbs | Strong Heavy Duty Stick on Adhesive | Mount on Brick, Concrete for Hanging, 30702 - VELCRO Brand Heavy Duty Tape | 16 Foot Roll | Strong Sticky Back Adhesive Holds up to 10 lbs | Industrial Strength Fasteners for Indoor or Outdoor Use | 1-1/2in Width, Black (VEL-30838-USA) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.hr/products/654179951-velcro-brand-extreme-outdoor-mounting-tape-20ft-x-1-in](https://www.desertcart.hr/products/654179951-velcro-brand-extreme-outdoor-mounting-tape-20ft-x-1-in) --- *Product available on Desertcart Croatia* *Store origin: HR* *Last updated: 2026-10-16*
