Review: Works best with the included mallet - I’m new to this instrument, but I’ve been doing research and was told handpans go out of tune in like a year depending on how gentle you are with them so I didn’t want to use the mallet that came with this, but when I use my thumb and index finger as instructed you can barely hear it. It sounds beautiful when using the mallet though, so I will do that and hope it doesn’t go out of tune quickly.

Being a Latin percussionist since I was six, I incorporated bongo techniques to play the instrument, and I fell in love with the hand pan the moment I started playing it. This drum is at 432 Hz, so it has healing qualities. I recommend it as a first-time player of these instruments; it was enjoyable for me. I will be making TikToks playing this drum
