The color is consistent with some shea butters that I have bought in the past, and I could smell it as soon as I opened the box although it was wrapped in about three different plastics. I wish it had arrived in a container instead of a plastic bag, so I wouldn't need to buy a container, but at such a reduced price I can't complain. Just running my hand along the inside of the plastic bag reminded me of much I missed my shea!Great customer service, Great price as well! Cheapest I can find around my way is $5 per pound, and some don't even look like a pound.
