I found the assembly quite easy and fast; I probably had it installed in less than 5 minutes with no tools and no leaks. I liked that plumber's tape was included with the kit. There are a lot of pros to this hand-held shower: filtered, but still with plenty of water pressure; light weight and easy to use; 3 settings for different spray patterns; and an on/off button to make it easy to turn the water on and off while soaping up, etc. I also found that I could push the on/off button partially off to regulate the water flow, if I wanted to reduce the water force. I only found two possible negatives: 1. some other shower heads have a lot more settings than 3, so if you want a wider variety of spray patterns this may not be the one for you, and 2. the plastic construction may reduce life expectancy (it makes for a lighter unit, and it seems to be well made, but we'll see how it holds up over time). I've bought 15 different shower heads in the past 2 years so I'm becoming a bit of an expert. Pressure is medium and the water is very soft against your body but you get VERY good coverage helping soap to wash off very easily on any of the 3 spray patterns. If you have sensitive skin and want a showerhead that can spray, mist, and combo spray/mist with really good coverage yet be gentle on your skin you may love this showerhead.
