With a top speed exceeding 30 km/h and a user-friendly Spectrum SLT2 transmitter offering speed limit modes, it delivers both excitement and control. Easily upgradeable and built for all-weather performance, the Vorteks Mega 550 is the perfect entry point into high-performance RC stadium truck racing. ## Description ARRMA Vorteks Mega 550 2WD Stadium Truck RTR Product Overview Experience the thrill of stadium truck racing with a ready-to-run basher built as only ARRMA does - the Vorteks Mega 550 2WD. It is super robust, easy to handle and quick enough immediately after unpacking to delight both RC beginners and experienced drivers. The ARRMA VORTEKS 2WD is the cheapest hobby quality stadium truck in 1/10 scale on the market. And it's easy to upgrade with LiPo batteries and brushless motors whenever you're ready to take the next step. The Vorteks offers more sophisticated performance than any previous ARRMA 2WD vehicle and offers the perfect combination of stability and agility. When racing in the garden or in the local park, its wide track ensures confidence boosting control at any speed. Novice drivers benefit from the easy handling to learn the ideal line and precise driving techniques. Deep and sporty, the Vorteks 2WD takes every curve without slowing down. The special profile design of the brand new dBoots Dirtrunner ST front tyres makes jumping and cornering easier on rough surfaces. If you are new to the RC car hobby, the included 2-channel Spectrum SLT2 remote control helps you learn the control functions safely by limiting the top speed to 50% or 75% until you're ready to unleash full power. Drive safely in wet conditions - the Spektrum 2-in-1 40A ESC/receiver unit and the high-torque Spectrum S660 steering servo are both waterproof (please refer to the Vorteks instruction manual for details). Proven ARRMA technology gives the composite chassis the durability for driving on hard surfaces. The independent suspension, oil-filled shock absorbers and adjustable ride height together ensure a quiet ride on uneven terrain. For unstoppable traction, the metal gear differential of the Stadium Truck transfers the power from the built-in MEGA 550 engine to the off-road rear tyres. If you've gained more experience with your VORTEKS 2WD, you can also increase performance by upgrading it with optional parts that are already available. Use the 2S LiPo compatible spectrum electronics to power it with LiPo power. The Vorteks chassis has enormous potential to develop into a next level RC bashing beast!
