Run hot water over the bottle at base of white top. Do this for several minutes. Then the top twisted right off for me. **Q: Is there a warranty on this item I have purchased two and they both stopped spraying.?** A: Bought mine 12/5/21 and I loved it! Worked perfectly and I loved the continuous mist for my plants. Now it only does a stream spray. Well, I read the other answers and chose to try alcohol and warm water first. BAM! 3-4 pumps and it went from stream to spray! Thanks for the suggestion, friend. **Q: Is this foodsafe?** A: No **Q: Has anyone used this for rubbing alcohol for cleaning, does the sprayer work with alcohol?** A: I am using them for bleach, Citrus II, Peroxide, and now I am ordering one for alcohol. I love these!! They are wonderful for cleaning and sanitizing. I had also used essential oil mixed in water to spray my deck to get rid of flies.
