Truly a red tone eliminator - *I already had medium-dark (leaning more dark but nowhere near black) hair that was previously dyed several weeks before using this product* My hair was washed and dried from the day, but once the desertcart package arrived I re-wet it with a spray bottle and applied the product. Do not, under any circumstances, use this if you have or have had any highlights in the past. My highlights were NOT blond to start, rather a caramel brown.
