I bought this turntable to solve a problem we had with a large cactus which rapidly bends over towards the light each day. Would need to remember to manually keep rotating it each day to make it bend back. By placing the cactus pot on this turn table it slowly rotates throughout the day so it gets even sun on all sides and now grows evenly and straight. The slow rotating makes for a great display to appreciate all sides of the flowering plant. Its setup on a timer switch so it runs during 12 hours of daylight each day.Of the various turn tables available to buy, I found this one was best because:1. It rotates slowly (about once per minute) unlike others which whiz round 3 to 4 times a minute.2. Its extremely quiet - You cannot hear it rotating unless you put your ear right up to it.3. Its compact - Not too deep that it stands out too much.4. It looks smart5. Good priceVery pleased with the item.
