Review: Dewalt quality! - This hose does come wound rather tightly and initially the curls are kind of annoying, but it only took about a week of use and "proper" rolling before those were no longer evident. This hose is heavy-duty and I love it. It is as easy to unroll, roll, and store as any hose I've ever owned. No leaks and one of my favorite feature is the entire 6-ish inch section on the female end turns. This makes attaching and detaching so much easier than other hoses. It is more expensive but in this case it was worth it to me.
