Dayton Audio's TT25-8 PUCK is a small, 8 ohm tactile transducer or mini bass shaker that is intended to be used in home theater, gaming, and auto sound applications.

Review: Small but Mighty! - Outstanding little bass shakers! I fitted these to my home cinema room's duo recliner sofa, running a LFE to phono cable from my av receivers second sub out, to a mini amp, the Fosi Audio T20's phono inputs. I didnt expect much rumble but i was very much mistaken! Watching Saving Private Ryan 4k, the atmos mix blew me away with the powerful explosions and gunfire, these shakers rocked the sofa! Definitely adds a great sense of immersion and also negated the need for a second subwoofer which would of been overkill for the size of my home theatre. Only drawback in my setup is not being able to adjust the delay on the mini amp, it's maybe 300ms out of sync which isn't noticable watching action scenes for instance, as the sound of an explosion would be heard ever so slightly delayed in real life, however listening to music the bass hit is slightly jarring, but music isn't really what these shakers are all about. If you had a second av receiver running these shakers instead then the delay could be remedied easily. I whole heartedly recommended these Dayton Audio TT25-8's, a very welcome upgrade to my home cinema experience.

**Q: Can I used a A/V receiver with this instead of an AMP?**
A: No, this needs an amp. 
You can buy a cheap car subwoofer amplifier like this one:
https://www.amazon.com/BOSS-Audio-R1100M-Monoblock-Subwoofer/dp/B004S4XNEO

Since it's 1100W (theoretically), I would wire all of the bass shakers in series, and connect to the amp above.

**Q: Can 4 units be placed under a king sized bed, with 2 people in it (600lbs total weight)?**
A: Might need more than 4 units.... they also get hot! Plus you need to mount them to the bed  frame not just place it under the mattress

**Q: Can I install this into a boombox type speaker or is it too powerful?**
A: This is an old question but I was able to place mine into a small, repurposed, 3" computer subwoofer box.  I can place the box onto my couch and it sounds great!  Works wonderful with my headphones and gives a fantastic depth of bass which was missing from my headphones alone.  I power this unit with a small subwoofer amp.

**Q: is this a pair or a single**
A: Mine was a single.  Since I wanted two, I had to place an order for a quantity of 2.

Outstanding little bass shakers! I fitted these to my home cinema room's duo recliner sofa, running a LFE to phono cable from my av receivers second sub out, to a mini amp, the Fosi Audio T20's phono inputs. These little speakers pack some punch Connected a couple up to my SIM rig. 1 under the pedal tray and one under the seat. Can really feel the feedback now when playing wrc rally. Paired up with a nobsound amp and it's a great little addition to my SIM racing.

If you need to strip the cables for extra connection length you must use a cable stripper, as the wires are extremely thin. It actuates at 190Hz, it peaks at 80Hz and remains strong to under 70Hz, but then tails off by 60Hz.
