Picture was bright, crisp, clear. Adjusting zoom and focus is smooth, has resistance to it. The included throw lever is great, very nice feature. Overall it's definitely a good value, solid choice for the money. I picked this up because I wanted zoom, but also 1x, a "do it all" optic. The reticle illuminates plenty strong, I honestly wish it had an option for green though (easier for me to see at lower power). I may come back to this one, but for now I feel like the eye box is too narrow for me to keep it. I can't afford to regret my decision, whatever I buy is what I'm stuck with. I compared this Panzer side by side with the Ladon 1-6x since that has similar magnification and size, but includes a small RDS.
