It seemed very pricey but after one too many sleepless nights with leg pain and cramps, and having a mildly arthritic right knee, I decided to try it - and what can I say? It did exactly what it promised. My conditions weren't chronic but I could see they were starting to get worse. For me, the effects were immediate. After one 30 minute session on the base unit using one of the lower levels, my legs felt better than they had in years. I've been using it for two weeks now (once a day before I go to bed) and all my lower legs pains, mild swelling and cramps have disappeared. The knee pads have reduced the pain in my knee, but that seems to be more of an on-going thing - a little better each day rather than the immediate effects of the foot circulation. Another plus is how much more refreshed I feel. I have more energy, which I assume is because I'm sleeping better, but it's a bonus I wasn't expecting. I bought this hoping I might build up some strength in my quads to support my weak knees. I started using just the foot plate function and have been amazed at the reduction of swelling in my ankles and how much strength and definition I have built up since using it every day for half an hour since purchase approximately 6 weeks ago.I am struggling to fit in another half hour to use on my quads but I will as the results on my ankles and lower leg has been astounding, honestly!If I was being super picky I would suggest a little heat through the footplates would be great as my feet get quite cold while I am sitting for half an hour.
