I already have the medela bottles with me** A: This version is only meant for short term supplementation, say a week or so. The tubing won't hold up to dozens of washings and sterilizations and use. I've seen them come loose from the tip, tube get crushed from being turned "off" and sometimes the tube just breaks. She will need the larger full size SNS for long term supplementation. It is sturdier and it has 3 different sizes of tubes and each set has two tubes so mom can set up both breasts at once.
