Unless this is used on a south facing wall, consider taking the cheap additional mains adaptor you wire straight to the circuit panel. Consider where to place the siren especially if mains power will be required. You'll definitely need a wired power supply, the battery died after only a few days on a North facing wall. I just used an old 12v power adaptor that I found, but they also sell one.
