He is particular and this I think will be the only food I get. He loves minced meat from the plastic container (the other brand), it's just upon putting into the toaster oven to warm, that is entirely a gross smell. Maybe just this is from a better container, otherwise the part of the animal is not right, chemicals, not sure. Upon eating this one that smells great, he has too much appetite so it must be limited is the only problem we have now Then I got a 2nd case and the cat won't eat it, I blame the universal heating method, can you heat this seperate in stainless pots, let them cool, and then put the food into the can? This smell is burned in, as evidenced by the increase of smell when heated. The problem is with all kinds of canned food for cats, I guess.
