They’re relatively lightweight but still sturdy enough where it doesn’t flex. The back adhesive covers the entire panel and sticking it onto drywall, it adheres pretty strongly. It would take some effort to remove. I don’t know if it’ll peel off paint but when applying one panel I had to slightly pull back on it to adjust and didn’t notice any paint coming off. Installation is easy enough and these panels are an easy way to get some simple sound damping. They look great and would highly recommend them. I just needed to offset the stark echo of toddler play in a small room, and found them to effectively help with that. Relatively easy to put up. For my room, 2 stacked together reached from floor to ceiling with a little extra. I used a box cutter at floor level to remove the excess.
