Review: Good value for price. Good second plane or maybe starter. - This is a good second plane or maybe a starter plane. My son started with a plane where speed also controlled elevation so there were only two controls - one for speed/elevation the other for turning. This plane has an elevator so speed and altitude can be controlled independently. So it’s one step more complex than his starter - but only one step. There is no rudder or aileron so it’s not too complex. I like the propellers on the side and not up front so that when you crash it doesn’t damage the propeller. The foam is durable. The battery door is a bit tight so I just broke it off. Don’t expect perfection - realize that it’s a decent deal for the price. If you want perfection you’ll have to pay more. But this is a lot of fun to fly and a great first or second plane. I’d give it a 4.75 if I could.

This is a good second plane or maybe a starter plane. My son started with a plane where speed also controlled elevation so there were only two controls - one for speed/elevation the other for turning. This plane has an elevator so speed and altitude can be controlled independently. So it’s one step more complex than his starter - but only one step. There is no rudder or aileron so it’s not too complex. I like the propellers on the side and not up front so that when you crash it doesn’t damage the propeller. The foam is durable. The battery door is a bit tight so I just broke it off. Don’t expect perfection - realize that it’s a decent deal for the price. If you want perfection you’ll have to pay more. But this is a lot of fun to fly and a great first or second plane. I’d give it a 4.75 if I could.
