Review: Chemical free - I have been using this product since more than a year. There are no unwanted chemicals and I could add it to all my cooking instead of sugar as it does not have a peculiar aftertaste. Jaggery with added chemicals curdles milk if added while boiling, but this one doesn't. Also date palm jaggery is better than sugar with a much lower GI and gives me a slower sugar rise, hence being a diabetic I can safely consume this in moderation.

I have been using this product since more than a year. There are no unwanted chemicals and I could add it to all my cooking instead of sugar as it does not have a peculiar aftertaste. Jaggery with added chemicals curdles milk if added while boiling, but this one doesn't. Also date palm jaggery is better than sugar with a much lower GI and gives me a slower sugar rise, hence being a diabetic I can safely consume this in moderation.
