**Q: how long does a filter last and can it be used without filter?**
A: Hi, how long the filter lasts it does depend how heavily it's used. I would say two days for an average smoker and yes you can use it without a filter or use extra slim filters.

**Q: Can this holder be used without the filter as I roll my own using a filter in them, I just want it to stop the staining on my fingers**
A: Yes it can be used without filters.  My dad says the filters don't fit anyway!  He rolls his own ciggies or smokes small cigars like café crème both of which fit into the holder well.  He's very pleased with it and has just asked me to order him a couple more.  I think it is too small to take full size cigarettes.

**Q: Will it hold a regular size cigarette or is it for roll ups?**
A: This particular one is made especially for slim cigarettes, not regular size.  I guess it might fit roll ups if they were thin.

**Q: how do I select the black one?**
A: I think it would be best to contact the seller.
