I was afraid I’d hurt him if I pulled too hard. With my daughter’s help, we figured out a strategy to get him in. Once he was in, he immediately calmed down.My dog is Around 4 lbs and it fits perfectly.Very well made, heavy fabric, nice lining and study. He has a lot of energy despite his age but at a certain point he was slowing us down, so into the pack he went. He didn't squirm or try to get out even though he had never been in a pack before. The pack is sturdy and the dog seemed comfortable. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the straps kept coming loose and the dog was getting lower and lower.
