I would like to clarify that this is indeed 56.4 inches wide and can accommodate a full-size mattress.One thing that has been bothering me is that I have two side bedrooms that I want to use as guest rooms. However, when a guest is not here, I don't want to have one of the rooms all to myself for work or gaming. This bed is perfect for that reason. I can stack it for kids when family comes over for events and need a place to stay or separate it into two beds in two different rooms for adult family or friend visitors.Assembling the bed seems easy; most of the parts are one piece and straightforward. However, since this is two beds in one, it does take more time to set up.FYI, I’m not sure how many people are still into spring beds, but considering the bed frame uses metal bars instead of wood planks, I personally recommend pairing it with a newer mattress made of layers of memory foam and leaning toward the firmer side compared to soft.
