The XM2 is extremely lightweight, which is beneficial for quick movements when gaming. The buttons are very responsive and provides pleasing tactile feedback, while the sensor performs very well. The scroll wheel has quite a bit of resistance, but I believe this will reduce over time. The mouse is quite a bit smaller than the Deathadder, with a slightly smaller hump at the rear and a lower profile at the front. I found this preferential to the shape of the Deathadder. There is no grip tape on the sides, but I found this made no difference to my ability to grip the mouse. The plastic construction and light weight of the mouse does not make the mosue feel cheap. I have confidence it will last in excess of 5 years. The software provided is very basic, however I much prefer this to the bloated nature of other software, such as Razer Synapse. Overall this is a great value for money offering and is ideal for anybody looking for a good value performance focussed mouse. Please note I utilised a mouse bungee when using the mouse, hence I cannot comment on the cable. Review: Not durable - I was rather disappointed with this mouse as after less than a month of owning it one of the side mouse buttons broke and got stuck sadly. I had heard great things. Also there is practically 0 point in having 8k polling rate because very little games support that high and there is barely any difference in feel at all. I also recommend going for a wireless mouse as the wire is very annoying. ## Features - Blazing-Fast 8000Hz Polling Rate: Experience next-level responsiveness mouse for gaming with an 8000Hz polling rate, reducing input lag for ultra-smooth tracking and fast reactions. - Precision PixArt PAW3395 Sensor: Our wired mouse for pc is featuring up to 26,000 CPI sensitivity and 650 IPS tracking speed, which makes it perfect for competitive gaming. - Kailh GM 8.0 Switches: Durable and fast-actuating mechanical switches with a sharp, responsive click feel for precision control. - Ultra-Lightweight Design: Our computer mouse gaming weighs just 52g for maximum comfort during long gaming sessions, reducing fatigue without sacrificing performance. - Customizable Skates: Hybrid skate design lets you adjust your glide with two different sizes, tailoring your mouse to any playstyle or surface. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0DG5YN8VT | | Antenna Location | Indoor | | Are Batteries Included? | No | | Are Batteries Required | No | | Best Sellers Rank | 21,642 in Computers & Accessories ( See Top 100 in Computers & Accessories ) 485 in Mice | | Brand | ENDGAME GEAR | | Brand Name | ENDGAME GEAR | | Button Quantity | 5 | | Colour | Black | | Compatible Devices | Personal Computer | | Connectivity technology | USB | | Country of Origin | United Kingdom | | Customer Reviews | 4.2 out of 5 stars 74 Reviews | | Enclosure Material | Plastic | | Hand Orientation | Ambidextrous | | Hardware Platform | PC | | Item Weight | 52 Grams | | Manufacturer | END GAME | | Manufacturer Part Number | EGG-XM2-8K-BLK | | Minimum Required Operating System Version | Windows 10 | | Model Name | XM2 8k Black | | Model Number | EGG-XM2-8K-BLK | | Mouse Maximum Sensitivity | 26000 Dots per Inch | | Movement Detection | Optical | | Movement detection technology | Optical | | Network Connectivity Technology | USB | | Number of Batteries | 1 Nonstandard Battery batteries required. | | Number of buttons | 5 | | Operating System | Windows | | Power Source | Corded Electric | | Product Features | 4k Polling, Lightweight, Low Click | | Product Finish Type | Matte or Glossy | | Product Warranty | 1 Year | | Range | 180 centimeters | | Special feature | 4k Polling, Lightweight, Low Click | | Style Name | XM2 8k | | Theme | Video Game | ## Product Details - **Brand:** ENDGAME GEAR - **Colour:** Black - **Connectivity technology:** USB - **Movement detection technology:** Optical - **Special feature:** 8k Polling, Lightweight, Low Click Latency ## Images ![ENDGAME GEAR XM2 - Wired Gaming Mouse 8000Hz, Kailh GM 8.0 Switch, PixArt PAW3395 Sensor, Lightweight Gaming Mouse 52g, Black Edition - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61C9SwNz26L.jpg) ![ENDGAME GEAR XM2 - Wired Gaming Mouse 8000Hz, Kailh GM 8.0 Switch, PixArt PAW3395 Sensor, Lightweight Gaming Mouse 52g, Black Edition - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71+-5udl2OL.jpg) ![ENDGAME GEAR XM2 - Wired Gaming Mouse 8000Hz, Kailh GM 8.0 Switch, PixArt PAW3395 Sensor, Lightweight Gaming Mouse 52g, Black Edition - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71U9ce6jIJL.jpg) ![ENDGAME GEAR XM2 - Wired Gaming Mouse 8000Hz, Kailh GM 8.0 Switch, PixArt PAW3395 Sensor, Lightweight Gaming Mouse 52g, Black Edition - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61rLxrxKXDL.jpg) ![ENDGAME GEAR XM2 - Wired Gaming Mouse 8000Hz, Kailh GM 8.0 Switch, PixArt PAW3395 Sensor, Lightweight Gaming Mouse 52g, Black Edition - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71DjmHxxkcL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color, Size, Style** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: What is the polling rate and maximum sensitivity?** A: The mouse offers a high polling rate for ultra-responsive performance and up to [insert DPI value] for precise control in gaming and work applications. **Q: Is it wired or wireless, and what is the cable length?** A: This is a wired gaming mouse with a durable, flexible cable measuring approximately [insert length] for unrestricted movement. **Q: Does it have customizable buttons and RGB lighting?** A: Yes, multiple buttons can be programmed via software, and RGB lighting can be customised for colours and effects. **Q: What is the sensor type and is it suitable for gaming?** A: It uses a high-precision optical sensor, delivering accurate tracking and smooth performance ideal for competitive gaming. **Q: Does it work with different operating systems and come with extras?** A: Compatible with Windows, Mac, and most gaming setups. I had heard great things. Also there is practically 0 point in having 8k polling rate because very little games support that high and there is barely any difference in feel at all. I also recommend going for a wireless mouse as the wire is very annoying. ### ⭐⭐ Solid Performer, but Internals are Sensitive *by L***E on 27 March 2026* The XM2 felt like a solid alternative to the OP1 series. However, be extremely careful with it, the internal mechanisms seem quite sensitive. I unfortunately spilled a small amount of liquid on it, and the clicks immediately became sticky and unresponsive (right-click delay). While the damage was my own fault, the mouse didn't seem to have much resilience once the spill occurred. If you’re a 'clean' gamer, it’s a great performer, but it’s definitely not built to survive any accidents. ## Frequently Bought Together - ENDGAME GEAR XM2 8k Gaming Mouse – 8000Hz Polling Rate, Kailh GX Switches, PixArt PAW3395 Sensor, Ultra-Light 52 g, Black Edition - Pulsar Gaming Gears - Micro Bungee ES : Drag-Free Wired Mouse Support - Free Motion on Your Desk - Super Compact Size - Attach it to Your Monitor - Get More Space (Single Pack) - CASETHRONE Gaming Mouse Cable Management V2,aBell Mouse Bungee V2 Device for Esports FPS Game (Black) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.hr/products/661904540-endgame-gear-xm2-wired-gaming-mouse-8000hz-kailh-gm-8](https://www.desertcart.hr/products/661904540-endgame-gear-xm2-wired-gaming-mouse-8000hz-kailh-gm-8) --- *Product available on Desertcart Croatia* *Store origin: HR* *Last updated: 2026-10-27*
