A: Yes they are the same

**Q: can this cut plastic pipes as well?**
A: Not really the wheel is to shallow. Rothenberger do manufacture various purpose made cutters for plastic..

A great quality product. I bought a cheaper one a month ago and it’s already done. Immediately after buying this and using it a couple of times I knew this is the tool I was looking for. Remember “buy cheap buy twice”. This is a fairly pricey tool but worth every penny. 10/10
