To put the tree into the bigger pot? It also comes with two bags of moss, 2- Enuf?** A: Did not buy the pot they suggest because the reviews said it is very light weight and made of plastic. Personally, I prefer ceramic or stoneware even for a fake tree. Also, the moss does not come with it. You must purchase separately. I found the tree to be quite top heavy, so I used garden rock to anchor it in the pot, then put the moss on top. **Q: Would you consider this a medium or darker green leaf color, and is the stem as thin as pictured? Would it be swallowed up in a larger planter?** A: Helle, good questions! I consideth e leaves to be a darker hunter green shade, however, there are lighter green leaves strategically placed throughout to add detail. The stems are about 1-1.5" in diameter each, and strewn together with a vine. NO! This tree would look great in a large planter, and would not be swallowed up. In fact, my first review of this tree included that you will need a large planter to stabilize it. I love is tree, and it really adds something beautiful to my home. It is def worth the price!! I want more! I do wish it had lights, but I can easily obtain a battery operated string of lights to avoid plugs. Take care. **Q: what diameter pot should i buy for this?** A: I agree with Julie. Look at some of the pictures that are posted on here with small pots. You would never grow a real tree that size in such small pots. They look ridiculous. **Q: Can I put this outside?** A: Hello, This is not an outdoor tree and is not UV protected and should not go outside. The trunks are real bark however the Ficus leaves are made from silk and will eventually fade in the sun. Versatile to any space. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ It's nice - for a fake tree *by R***A on January 9, 2015* This is my first fake plant and I have to admit I was pleasantly surprised! **Just BEWARE - there are a few drawbacks you might want to know before buying: Be prepared to spend some time arranging the leaves. I don't mean the branches - that part's easy. It's the leaves that were a pain. The tree comes crammed into a long, skinny box, which means each individual leaf is folded/crunched. There's no packing material in the box, and by the time it got to my house the tree was pretty banged up. Each individual leaf had to be smoothed & flattened, which was a little tedious. The dirt in the pot was also all over the place, so be careful opening the box. After smoothing & arranging, my tree is no-where near as full as the one in the picture. It's EXACTLY like the difference between a real Christmas tree and a fake one. With the fake one, no matter how much you fluff up the branches it still never looks as full as a real tree. Same with this tree - no matter how much I fluffed, folded, & bended branches, it still looks thin compared to the picture. The product picture looks lush. Mine looks anemic. Ironic, since the product picture is ALSO supposed to be a fake tree?! As others have mentioned, this tree is REALLY unstable. It will not stand up on it's own in the little pot it comes with. I put it in a large, decorative pot, so it stayed up - but that wasn't the problem. My problem was that it kept leaning over drunkenly no matter how much I packed the pot with newspaper. It's just too top-heavy. I finally had to weigh it down with an entire bag of gravel to get it to stand up straight. Problem solved - but, again, just an issue to be aware of. On the POSITIVE side of things: It's nice and big. I'm 5' 7" and this thing is at least 6 inches taller than I am (with the pot resting on the floor). I wanted a tree to warm up a small home office, and it did exactly that. It had an immediate impact on the room, making it seem much more inviting. It's pretty. It is "real" looking? No, not really. Even from the doorway it's clearly a fake tree. However - it IS pretty. My office looks so much nicer with any greenery in it, and this was a definite enhancement. One reviewer mentioned a bad smell. Mine doesn't smell at all. I'm really sensitive to perfumes and chemical smells, and I've been sitting next to the tree for a few hours and feel fine. If it was outgassing I'd have a headache by now and I don't. And - probably the best feature of all - it's not going to die on me. Real plants just can't survive in my house (tiny windows & large oak trees blocking sunlight). I'm not going to spend the next few weeks sighing in frustration and picking dead leaves up off the floor. This tree may look a little fake, but it's going to survive.
