That being said, I can tell there was a lot of thought that went into this product (they added a metal rod inside the cover to give it more resistance to warping for example) and the manufacture is of good quality, with the holes lining up properly, and things being well adjusted in general. The hardware provided for the assembly also seemed of good quality. Finally the assembly was easy, with each piece clearly labeled and neatly packaged. One area of improvement would be to make the hardware packages easier to open, perhaps by adding pre-cut lines in the carboard backing. Similarly the shipping boxes used cannot be open without being torn appart, an easy open mechanism would go a long way. But all in all, except for my durability doubt relative to the cost, I would say it is a good product. How tall is it?** A: yes ,The shed is totally waterproof, The internal seal is very good. In addition, the surface of the storage shed has some concave grain to facilitate the drain off water. Height is 41 in **Q: Can you get replacement hinges for this storage shed ?** A: Yes, at any good hardware store. **Q: Is there any way to make the cheap, poorly designed prop work? (Rest of the construction is great so far, confused why the stand is so cheap.)** A: I couldn't figure it out at first either. Instructions tell you to turn the rod so that you can fit it in the slot and then turn it clockwise so that the angled bar at the top faces into the shed. What's not clear is that you have to insert it deeper into the wall. There's what looks like a channel at the top of that opening where the bottom of the rod could rest, but that's not what you want. You want the stop "shelf" that's a bit further down the wall. It looks good and holds two 32 gallon cans. It also went together fairly quickly. However, I assembled it by myself and found that getting some of the plastic screws to seat was not that easy, nor was getting the hinges connected to the lid. Plan to have someone help you assemble it as you need to have that person hold the unit together while you screw things in place. The biggest concern I have is how durable this is going to be. It does not feel that sturdy, and while I was assembling it (again, by myself) a light breeze came up and blew the top over before I could catch it. This actually broke the hinge in half! That is when I realized the hinges were hard plastic. At least the plastic lid did not break, and, to their credit, the company quickly sent me two replacement hinges. I now have the until put together. However, I get a lot of high winds in this area, and I now know that I can't lift the lid to toss trash in if it is at all windy out. I wonder how well the until will stand up to high winds in general. It has holes in the bottom to allow you to anchor it to the ground, so I will do that, but time will tell if this investment was worth while. Overall, I feel $320 is too much for this unit. $220 would be more reasonable for its quality and durability. For myself, I would not buy it again (or any of the plastic sheds out there) due to what appears to be a questionable ability to stay put in the wind. UPDATE: The wind again blew the lid off and the hinges broke. This time I had to buy my own hinge replacements. $30 for a pair of plastic hinges is robbery.
