That said the scent is a very soft vanilla scent. **Q: Does this have to be washed out at the end of the day before applying more?** A: I wash mine out each morning before reapplying and styling. I have a very long full beard and bed beard requires daily washing and styling **Q: leaves white stuff on mustache** A: This beard balm is hard to get to rub in easily, even tho it does do the Job well, if you don't rub it between your fingers and brush it in afterwards it does make the hair appear white. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Brilliant hold throughout the day. *by A***R on 19 October 2018* I've tried several waxs which promised really strong hold and found they just left my beard looking wet and shiny without allowing me to style it, basically, I ended up with just a wiry greasy looking beard which continued to curl anyway it wanted.This product, however, dries leaving a strong matt finish, and if you use a hairdryer you can sculpt, tame and style your beard even if you have unruly and curly hair as I do. It lists sugar in the ingredients which seemed odd but I think that's what adds volume which helps to reduce the wiry appearance of curly beard hair.Great stuff, I'll be back for more! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Product! I've used it before! *by W***O on 7 June 2021* I was extremely pleased to get this product as I had recently ran out not that long ago. It has a great hold with using very little at varied lengths and had a pleasant smell. It also washes out easily.My only issue with this was that way it arrived at my home on Friday, June 5th. The standard mailing box had zero padding in it. Two of the three jars had falling out of their thin packaging within the shipping box and had cracked the lids. See the photos. Luckily, there is still someone of a seal on those two jars. These were shipped to the U.S. and I'm not sure if this happened in customs or on the trip across the pond prior.
