It's great for improving balance skills, it took me about 10 minutes occasional practise to be able to balance for 15 seconds or so at a time and then after about an hour total I can stay on for as long as I can be bothered.The instructions say it's best to learn on carpet but we found with our standard depth carpet there was too much resistance to rolling and an old yoga mat on hard floor was best to use it on, this gives just the right amount of resistance that you can balance easily without the board flying off. I've now progressed to hardwood floor which I now find the easiest once I'm actually up and balancing but it's a bit tricky to get started.The stops at each end are definitely worth buying this board versus cheaper ones as it means when you reach the limits the stop makes sure the board doesn't completely fly off and you can reset safely, but is far enough on the edge that it's not cheating. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Zen like swaying *by M***T on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 28 November 2018* Having used an indo board in the gym for some time I bought this for home. It’s just excellent. I will happily balance and watch TV. The board is slightly longer and narrower than standard indo board, but this just adds to the challenge. We only have wood floors at home which means this ( or any cyclinder) will shoot away quickly. Place a thin yoga mat under the roller for a less dramatic sway.
