I only had to put the legs on and the packed box was light enough for me to carry alone although it’s long, so you made need help due to the size. There are a couple of elastic bands in the storage space that held the legs and screws, Everything was packed carefully and no scratches or marks and came with super easy instructions. There was no weird smell and feels quite stable to sit on as a bench without feeling like it’s going to fall apart.

Love it! As described. This is a matte black faux leather. I bought this for my older cat who is having difficulty jumping up on the bed and it is a perfect height for that. It looks very nice, the legs were easy to install and the lid and storage area are nice. It was packaged very well. I am very pleased with this bench.
