Review: My Rottie Went Full Hannibal Lecter 😂 - This muzzle definitely does its job, but I can't help but laugh every time my Rottweiler wears it. My girl is incredibly sweet with people, but she can be reactive toward female dogs, so we wanted something for extra safety when we're out and about. The fit is decent, and she seems comfortable enough wearing it. The only issue I've noticed is that it can creep up toward her eye, so you'll want to keep an eye on the fit and make adjustments as needed. That said, the look is absolutely hysterical. She goes from sweet family dog to either Hannibal Lecter or Bane from Batman the second this thing goes on. We can't stop laughing. Overall, it's serving its purpose, and the entertainment value is an added bonus!
Review: First one he wears - He doesn't suffer much with this one. Roomy. Leather straps are firmer, doesn't move all over his head. He has a bear size head. Extremely large Rottweiler but XXL still fit. He can pant real easy. Slips on and is secured only by having tight around base of ears, any muzzle can come off. He did need to get use to the fact that he can bump into children first while trying to lick them. He is a lickaholic and sometimes must wear his muzzle around visitors, esp. Children as he slobbers a lot while trying to shower them with kisses. On trail he wears muzzle so he doesn't try to bite a passing large man or dog, or bike. He's a rescue from the Bronx. ## Features

- Premium Large Dog Muzzle: Crafted with 100% genuine leather straps and a durable PVC mask, our adjustable dog muzzle features heavy-duty buckles designed to last. Dog muzzle size: Girth of dog's snout is 10 1/2 inches, length of dog's snout is 3 1/2 inches. 4 Adjusting straps for comfort fitting.
- Protective Wire Construction: The sturdy basket effectively prevents harmful activities such as scavenging, biting, and wound-licking, providing safety for your dog and others. It is perfect for aggression, scared or nervous dogs, and introductions.
- Humane and Ergonomic Basket Design: Our comfortable muzzle for large dogs allows unrestricted snout movement, making drinking, breathing, and panting easy. This breathable design prioritizes your pet's comfort and well-being, featuring soft, cushioned neoprene padding for the nose.
- Mind that before you put the metal muzzle your dog must be trained for this. Train a Dog to Accept a Muzzle. The dog who never trained for muzzle will definitely try to pull it off immediately. And obviously after several attempts dog can escape from any type of muzzle.
- Muzzle is the type of accessory that is only meant to be used for short periods of time, and only when your dog is supervised. Metal muzzles are used to prevent dog bites. They are not for preventing problem behaviors by forcing your dog’s mouth closed. Do not use a dog muzzle for barking, chewing, or other ongoing behavioral problems. If you believe that muzzle is a must have for your pet, please ask for professional advice from dog trainer.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect size for a full size male pitbull with added hole
*by K***Y on July 28, 2026*

I have a full American pitbull terrier and the size for pitbull, his lips were overflowing out of the sides of it because it was too small, this one fit his head great, no lip overflow, the only problem is that his neck is not Rottweiler sized so the strap that tightens around the neck does not have anywhere near enough adjustment holes for this to be fitted properly as is and we ended up making our own hole for him and cutting off excess strap and now it fits great. This is the only one out of the 6 other I tried that he actually tolerates and seems to be comfortable in. Keeps him from eating things he is not supposed to while outside.
